Documentation for work abroad

Because of an increasing interest in work of companies abroad, we also provide services related to preparation of documentation for work in Germany and Austria, review of professions, extracts and submission of documentation, and registration or de-registration of workers.

POSTING OF WORKERS IN EU – WORK OF SLOVENIAN COMPANIES ABROAD (Austria, Germany)

RULES:

• Work permit is not required (except for postings from Croatia to Austria).
• Recognition of professional qualifications is not necessary, except for certain professions – written application.
• Insurance is paid in Slovenia.
• Contributions are paid in the home country.
• However, the regulations of the host country apply.
• The abovementioned rules do not govern which country taxes the income in the period of the posting. This is defined in national regulations and agreements on taxation, concluded between countries.

HIGH FINES

Companies are responsible for ensuring that their posted workers have all the necessary documents required by the Austrian legislation. Austrian financial police has enhanced the surveillance, especially in construction sites. High fines of even up to 60 000 EUR are imposed for failure to comply with the regulations, the company may be blacklisted, and in extreme cases Austrian authorities may ban the company from further operation in Austria.
